Residencies
The DOKS Residency Programme is designed for professional artists and creative practitioners seeking more than a conventional residency. It serves as a springboard for new inspiration, collaboration, and artistic development — bridging countries, cultures, and experiences. Applicants are required to apply for a residency in a Nordic country other than their home country.
During your residency, you will have the opportunity to explore ideas, develop projects, and collaborate with other professional artists in fresh and stimulating contexts. Below, you’ll find practical information on eligibility, selection criteria, residency periods, and the support provided during your stay.
Use the menu to explore the different sections and discover how a DOKS residency can become a launchpad for your project.
Application form opens 17 December 2025
Application deadline is 22 January 2026, 13:00 CET
